    1. Library is recruiting for a new History & Genealogy Library Manager. 
    2. Library requests new Commissioner not be appointment at this time.

  6. The February 11, 2020 Minutes were approved
    1. Discussion on corrections to preliminary minutes

  8. Continuing Business
    1. Library Commissioner Update
      1. LC Schneider presents update:
        1. A contract related to the Archives Inventory and Rehousing of the Archives project is being developed and will be brought to the Library Commission for approval on April 6, 2020
        2. Strategic Plan 2020+ holding open house sessions for the Library and requesting the public to take their survey:  https://sonomalibrary.org/strategicplan2020plus
    2. Archives Activity
      1. Once begun, the Archives Inventory and Rehousing of the Archives will be an 8-week project and Archives will not be accessible during the project.
      2. Discussions occurring regarding lease renewal on Los Guilicos Archives site, which currently ends on March 31, 2020.
    3. Archives Task Force
      1. Members Deborah Lindley, Sarah Vantrease, and Darin Bartow met this month:
        1. Reviewing founding documents, associated staff reports related to the Archives and HRC, what is the use of the Archives in recent history (last 5 years), 89% of the use is County departments that are requesting their own files
        2. Deborah and Sarah are looking at other counties and looking at how archival records are managed and hope to find business model; have not yet found anything similar to our circumstances
        3. Looking forward to LC inventory project to use as valuable assessment for future planning.
        4. Joyce Sayed emphasizes the importance of a representative from the HRC to be on the Archives Task Force.  Discussion commences about HRC involvement on task force.
        5. Secretary to sign up County Recorder as member of this task force..

      1. HRC does nto feel it is appropriate to post a commercial site on the County Website.
