- Call to order 4:09 pm
- The May 8, 2018, 2018 Historical Records Commission minutes were approved
- $10,000 Community Investment Grant was awarded to HRC for 18/19 fiscal year
- Lynn Downey’s invoice has been received and is in the process of being paid
- Deva emailed BJ Bischoff to get her invoice
- Strategic Plan
- Work plan distributed
- Saved in the County network, in HRC folder
- Place a formal adoption vote on the Strategic Plan on the July HRC agenda
- Next Steps:
- Clean up text on Strategic Plan
- Put County Seal on Plan
- Add to HRC website
- Finding History Day
- Combining with Sonoma County Genealogical Society on 9/15 will not work
- Library Forum room reserved for 10/13
- Might compete with fire memorial events
- Possible on November 3rd

- Changes to Resolution/By-laws
- Secretary Proto will update resolution language and bylaws
- Research Grants program
- Discuss in July with new budget
- Discuss marketing
- Pre-1906 Vital Records
- County Recorder’s Association of California discussed these records at last Legislative Committee meeting, regarding changing language and restrictions for older records
- Archives / Archived Records
- Environmental Health
- They want to scan their records
- Library provided index of EH records
- Working with them on the project
- Records to come back to the Archives, which has Deed of Gift paperwork
- Wallace Collection Project
- Lynn Downey provided first report on collection
- Commissioner Rinehart working with County to procure another room to use for archive projects
- Genealogical Society has willing volunteers to help
- Jeremy Nichols will work with Surveyors Association for a presentation, maybe request more funding

- History Library has new employee, interviewing another
- City of Sonoma looking for a copy of the original City seal
- Found receipt for the purchase, but doesn’t know what the seal looked like
