Commission on the Status of Women

4th District Commissioner Gina Fortino Dickson

Gina Fortino Dickson

Gina is a new Lawyer, having completed her Juris Doctorate degree from Empire College and passing the bar this May. Her hard work has also earned her a B.A. in Liberal Studies from Sonoma State University and an A.A. in Business Management from Santa Rosa Junior College. Prior to her new law career, she was a grant manager and educator.

Gina has worn many hats on her journey, including serving as Vice Mayor and Council Member of the City of Clearlake from 2012-2016, after serving two terms as Planning Commissioner. She now resides in and serves the Town of Windsor. Formerly, as Park and Recreations Commissioner, and currently as a Planning Commissioner and as a member of the Sonoma County Child Care Planning Council.

She looks forward to continuing to serve the community by striving for justice and equity through the practice of law. When Gina is not serving the community, she loves spending time with her family, including her parents and five siblings, her husband and two children. She is a natural motivator and finds joy in encouraging others to achieve their goals as well. And she is very excited to represent Sonoma County as the newest member of the Commission on the Status of Women.
