Inflatable Dam Removal Begins Today on Russian River
The Sonoma County Water Agency (Water Agency) today began deflating its rubber dam located in the Russian River near Forestville. The Water Agency routinely deflates the rubber dam when Russian River flows reach 2,000 cubic feet per second in order to prevent damage to the rubber dam from the high flows. Read full story

Defendant IvanMorales was convicted today by a jury of premeditated attempted murder of anarmored car guard, robbery of an armored car guard, assault with an assaultrifle, assault on a police officer and driving a stolen vehicle. Youthful Killer Denied Early Parole
District Attorney Jill Ravitch has announced that inmate Ricky Phonesai Phachanh, now thirty years old, was denied early release on parole by the Board of Prison Terms after a hearing on December 27th at the Ironwood State Prison in Blythe, California. Read full story
