Murder’s Parole Release Overturned by Governor at DA’s Request
After a parolehearing in December 2017, the California Board of Prison Terms decided to release68-year-old Larry Bunke for the 1982 murder of his wife, Linda. After the board granted parole, DistrictAttorney Jill Ravitch, as well as multiple supporters amongst the victim’sfamily and friends, sent letters to the Governor’s office requesting that hereverse the board’s decision. Eco-Friendly Garden Tour Focuses on California Natives and Urban Gardens
The annual Eco-Friendly Garden Tour (Tour) willtake place on Saturday May 5th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Now inits eighth year, the Tour is sponsored by the Sonoma-Marin Saving WaterPartnership (Partnership) and focuses on low water-use sustainablelandscaping.
