Join a Free Bingocize Class for Fun and Falls Prevention

Santa Rosa,CA | December 10, 2019

Falls are the #1 reason older adults end up in the emergency room. Two, free, Bingocize class series will teach adults age 60+ how to reduce their risk of falling by increasing strength balance and range of motion. Classes combine a fun game of Bingo with simple seated and standing exercises and falls prevention education to keep adults safely on their feet. All ability levels are welcome. 

Sign up for one of these four-class series:

  • On Mondays, January 6 – 27, 11 a.m.-Noon, at Bethlehem Towers, 801 Tupper Street, Santa Rosa.
  • On Saturdays, February 1 – 22, 11 a.m.-Noon, at the Russian River Senior Center, 15010 Armstrong Woods Road, Guerneville. This special series will be led by Sister Frances of the Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

Bingocize classes hosted by the Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) are led by certified instructors at locations countywide.

Bingocize courses are funded through Older Americans Act and/or USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
