To support you and your family, the Sonoma County Veterans Service Office (VSO) can help you understand the benefits available to you.

We assist you with applications for Federal Veterans Administration (VA), State and local benefits.

These programs may include medical care, funds for education and benefits for your family.

Drop-in and Veteran I.D. Hours Starting Sept. 24

Starting Monday, Sept. 24, the Santa Rosa VSO will increase drop-in office hours to Monday−Thursday, 8−11 a.m.

In addition, the hours to get a County veteran I.D. card and/or a DMV Form will change to Thursdays only, 8:30−11:45 a.m. and 1:15-4 p.m. County ID cards are available in the Santa Rosa office only.

How to Claim Benefits

The first step is to meet with us in-person to learn about all the benefits available to you and your family.

It’s best to schedule a meeting at our Santa Rosa or Petaluma office by calling (707) 565-5960.

You can also visit the Santa Rosa office during drop-in hours, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 - 9:45 AM. Note: Starting Monday, Sept. 24, drop-in hours will expand to Monday-Thursday, 8-11 a.m.
