Human Services Department

The Sonoma County Human Services Department is the right place to start when you need support.

Our programs serve job seekers, employers adults, children, teens, families, veterans, people with disabilities and the elderly.

We provide eligible residents with job training and job search services, enroll eligible individuals and families in CalFresh or Medi-Cal, support veterans, help foster children and teens, and foster parents, and protect abused or neglected children and help keep seniors and dependent adults safe. We partner with organizations countywide to make sure that, together, we can meet the community's important needs.
