    The County of Sonoma’s financing program, Sonoma County Energy Independence Program (SCEIP), has been approved for an interest rate reduction from 7% to 5.99%.

    EAH, the affordable housing bidder who was in negotiations with the County for the surplus sale of the Chanate property, withdrew from their buyer-side partnership. With no qualified respondent to the surplus Request for Proposals, the County closed the surplus sale process with no deal.

    On September 24th the Board of Supervisors voted to approve $10.8 million toward demolition of the blighted buildings on the Chanate Campus.

    On August 15, 2019, the County received formal notice from CalCHA withdrawing their proposal. The Board of Supervisors item regarding Chanate remains scheduled for August 20, 2019. At the meeting, the Board will consider options including awarding to one of the other bidders, or exploring the feasibility of removing the vacant structures and improving value.

Pedestrian traffic will be shifted from the northeast corner to the southeast corner, then across Ventura to the west side.

    Provided by PG&E in collaboration with the County's General Services Energy and Sustainability Division, the MI-BEST is a series of five consecutive days of training designed to be taken in sequence. MI-BEST joins the art of construction to the science of energy and moisture management.     Administration Drive roadway final paving will occur this Saturday Oct 11, 2014.

    Paving patches, and repair at 370 Administration Drive east parking lot   (old Redwood Credit Union building)  will occur on Monday October 13, 2014. This schedule will decrease the inconvenience of traffic controls to a greater number of County staff and the public.
