  1. Call to Order
    Chairperson Crystal Norris called the meeting to order at 7:06 pm.
  2. Adoption of May 2019 Minutes
    1. Report: Crystal Norris asks if there are any additions or corrections to the May 2019 minutes.
    2. Action: A motion was made by Al Ferris to accept minutes; motion seconded by Todd Derum.
    3. Passed with: 10 ayes, 0 nays, 2 absent.
  3. Correspondence
    Fish and Game Commission notices.
  4. Financial Reports for May and June 2019
    1. Report: As of June 30, 2019, the General Fund balance is $2023.72
    2. Action: A motion was made by Jim Lynch to accept financial reports for May and June 2019 as presented; motion seconded by Dagny Thomas.
    3. Passed with: 10 ayes, 0 nays, 2 absent.
  5. New Business
    1. Grant Request: Funding for Reef Check California
      1. Report: Tristan McHugh appeared before the Commission to give a presentation and answer questions from the commissioners regarding Reef Check California’s grant request. First Reading.
      2. Action: Second reading will be at the August meeting.
  6. Not on Agenda: James Reed, Demitri Esquivel, and Tiffany Wolvek, CDFW wardens, came to the meeting with their new rain gear purchased with a grant from the Commission. They showed the equipment to the commissioners and expressed their gratitude.
