  1. Call to Order– Introductions – Mission Statement
  2. Approval of the March 12, 2020 Agenda
    Due to the requirements of the Brown Act, only changing the order of or deletion of items may be allowed. New items may not be added.
  3. Approval of the February 13, 2020 Meeting Minutes
  4. Public Comment on Agendized Items
    Public comment is limited to three minutes per topic, unless otherwise noted.
  5. Commissioner Announcements
    Commissioners to provide any commission-related announcements, report on communications with supervisors and also announce any tabling opportunities.
  6. Openings and Appointments
    1. Chair will report out on openings.
  7. Public Comment on Non-Agendized Items
    Public comment is limited to three minutes per topic unless otherwise noted.
  8. Presentations
    Commissioners to hear from guest speaker Ms. Erica Diamond, Operations Manager for the California Homemakers Association.
  9. Regular Calendar Items
    1. Child Parent Institute Sponsorship
      Discussion and possible action on approving a fiscal sponsorship opportunity with CPI in the amount of $200 or more for the REWIND Film Screening.
    2. Social Media Policy Update
      Discussion and possible action on approving an amended internal social media policy.
    3. By-Laws Amendments
      Introduction and discussion on proposed amendments to the current CSW by-laws. (Note this is step one of two which will be final approval of by-laws).
    4. Strategic Planning Session (Almond)
      Discussion and possible action on scheduling the biennial strategic planning session.
    5. Apr 18 Mtg of Organizations (Almond)
      Discussion and possible action on refreshment budget; request for volunteers prior or day of event.

    Commissioners to provide reports and/or updates from the work being done by their ad hoc committee(s) and/or project committee(s).

In order that all interested parties have an opportunity to speak, please be brief and limit your comments to the subject under discussion. Each person is usually granted 3 minutes to speak; time limitations are at the discretion of the Chair. While members of the public are welcome to address the Commission, under the Brown Act, Commission members may not deliberate or take action on items not on the agenda, and generally may only listen.
