The Sonoma County Farm Bureau, in cooperation with the Sonoma County Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures, will be organizing four seminars throughout the county to aid growers and pest control businesses in understanding the new regulations for Pesticides Use Near Schools. To further assist in meeting state regulations, the Land Steward’s Guide to Vineyard and Orchard Erosion Control will be introduced. This Guide is intended for use in existing vineyards and orchards to assist in developing Erosion Control Plans in compliance with Water Board Waste Discharge Requirements. Copies of the Guide will be available for distribution to attendees. There is NO COST to attend these seminars, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Seminars will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on the following dates:

  • March 23: Geyserville Fire Protection District - 20975 Geyserville Ave, Geyserville, CA 95441
  • April 11: Two Rock Volunteer Fire Department - 7618 Valley Ford Rd, Petaluma, CA 94952
