We are thrilled to present the first in a series of spring events! Saturday, March 19th from 10am till 2pm we will be hosting our March Open House. No appointment needed for guests during Open House events! We'd like to invite all of our neighbors near and far to explore and shop an ever expanding selection of California native and drought tolerant plants. With everything from floriferous shrubs and perennials to early spring veggies, you'll find garden-tested selections perfect for every North Bay garden and beyond. We'll have knowledgeable staff and volunteers on hand to help with your selections and answer all of your gardening questions.
We are so happy to continue our partnership with the UC Master Gardeners. They have been hard at work propagating a wide variety of succulents that will also be available for sale on Saturday, March 19th. These heat and drought tolerant plants offer a great landscape or container option in today’s challenging conditions. Shoppers will have the opportunity to peruse two greenhouses loaded with succulents in 4-inch and 1-gallon pots starting at just $5, along with an enticing selection of container arrangements beginning at $15. Proceeds from the sale of these plants help support the UC Master Gardener Program of Sonoma County.
Can't make it to the March Open House? Not to worry. The Nursery at Jail Industries is open year round by appointment and for special events. Revenue from plant sales fund the educational programming offered through the Nursery at Jail Industries supported by Five Keys Schools and Programs and the Sheriff's Office of Sonoma County.
For the safety of our guests and staff, masks are required by guests at all times and capacity limits will be in place.
