The first presumptive positive case of COVID-19 in a Sonoma County resident was diagnosed in an individual who had recently returned from a “Mexican Riviera” cruise on the Grand Princess (Princess Cruises) from February 11-21, 2020 out of San Francisco with several stops in Mexico before returning to San Francisco. Information About Coronavirus (2019 Novel Coronavirus)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection will implement enhanced health screenings to detect ill travelers traveling to the United States on direct or connecting flights from Wuhan, China. SFO and LAX, as well as JFK, will require passengers from Wuhan to complete health screening form. Read full story
