- Funding for Nesting Support Project. Funding for Madrone Audubon Society’s nesting support project on West 9th Street in Santa Rosa consisting of creating fencing and a large area of straw mats underneath two median street trees, including covering closed asphalt traffic lanes. Area is maintained at least three days per week by sweeping area and adjusting/replacing fencing and straw. Madrone Audubon Society also manages an encroachment permit with City of Santa Rosa, interfacing with City of Santa Rosa Police, community members, and California Department of Fish & Wildlife. $3,000.00.
