Protect Yourself! Join this free, eight-class series of the award-winning, fall prevention program, A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns about Falls. Don't let fear of falling limit your social and physical activity.
Learn the importance of exercise in preventing falls and promoting strength, flexibility and balance. Explore thoughts and concerns about falls. Learn to create a safer home environment, identify fall risks including issues regarding medications, problem-solving strategies to address behavior and habits that can cause falls, and safety-promoting lifestyle strategies.
