The work to be done consists of providing and applying polymer modified rejuvenating emulsion seal coat to various County roads.
Replace caps, stringers, decking and pavement on 3 span timber bridge (20c0384, on Scouts Camp Road ); replace the caps, stringers, deck, railing and back wall and pavement of a 4 span timber viaduct (20c0450, on Starrett Hill Road); replace the caps, stringers, deck, railing and back wall and pavement of a 2 span timber viaduct (20c0385, on Pacific Avenue); and replace the caps, stringers, deck, railing and back wall and pavement on a two span timber viaduct - (20c0386, on Pacific Avenue).
Replace and strengthen the back wall of a 6 span timber viaduct (20c0424, Austin Creek Road); replace the caps, stringers, deck, railing and back wall of a 4 span timber stringer (20c0222, Annapolis Road); replace the caps, stringers, deck, railing and back wall of a 4 span timber stringer (20c0223, Annapolis Road); and replace the caps, stringers, deck, railing and back wall on a single span timber bridge (20c0441, Annapolis Road).
The project is located on Highway 101 at Airport Boulevard in Sonoma County between the cities of Santa Rosa and Windsor near the Sonoma County Airport. The project proposes to construct landscape improvements through an encroachment permit issued by Caltrans as a follow up to the Highway 101 North/Airport Boulevard interchange and sound walls project.
Removal of approximately twenty-four (24) eucalyptus trees, stump grinding approximately forty nine (49) eucalyptus stumps, and pruning approximately one hundred one (101) eucalyptus trees.
As part of the 2014 Pavement Preservation Program, Sonoma County's Road Maintenance crews apply a chip seal treatment to a select group of County roads.
Full depth reclamation of various County roads, including but not limited to asphalt concrete overlay of roadway, adjusting utility covers, guard rails, applying striping, installing delineators, repairing pavement structural section, cold planing, shoulder backing, and other items or details that are required by the Plans and Standard Specifications.Completed: Bennett Valley Road and Westside Road, Arnold Drive
This project consists of widening of the roadway, as well as construction of curb and gutter, sidewalks, pedestrian lighting, traffic striping and traffic signals, other improvements as shown on the plans.
