Negotiations Public Updates:

The County of Sonoma and representatives of SEIU Local 1021 met for their 14th bargaining session on February 15, 2023. During this session, the County received a comprehensive package proposal from SEIU, reached a number of tentative agreements on non-economic issues, and engaged in discussions around costing of economic proposals. ESC Negotiations Public Update

The County of Sonoma and ESC met for their fourth bargaining session on February 7, 2023. The parties continued discussions on the County’s total compensation survey. The parties are scheduled to resume negotiations on February 15, 2023. Read full story

ESC Negotiations Public Update

The County of Sonoma and ESC met for their third bargaining session on February 3, 2023. The County provided its initial economic proposal, which included a three-year term, immediate market equity adjustments, cost of living adjustments in each year of the contract, increased County medical contributions, and additional legacy-employee pension cost share provisions. The Union proposed modifications related to various contract sections, including staff development and wellness allowance, vacation savings plan, licensure reimbursements, premium pay for field work, and uniforms. The parties are scheduled to resume negotiations on February 7, 2023. Read full story
