Employee Leave Information

The County of Sonoma is committed to supporting its employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Federally mandated benefits provided under the FFCRA expired on December 31, 2020.

In recognition of the continued challenges facing our workforce, the County’s Board of Supervisors have extended the benefits provided under the FFCRA through March 31, 2021, pending any federal or state legislation that extends or provides similar benefits. The County has also adopted a COVID-19 Leave Donation Program to further assist employees who have exhausted other benefits. All County-provided benefits are subject to change as the pandemic situation evolves.
