The County of Sonoma and SEIU representatives conducted their 10th bargaining session on May 18th. The County revised its initial proposal to add a 2% one-time lump sum payment and an 8 hour floating holiday.  The County also offered to explore paid family leave, job classification procedures, and comparable agency issues by way of a side letter of agreement. SEIU offered concepts designed to bridge the gap between the parties’ respective economic positions.  

The parties agreed to keep working on ways to get to an agreement and will return to the bargaining table on May 30th.
