County of Sonoma and SEIU representatives held their fourth bargaining session on March 28th.
The session began with the Union presenting their final proposal, seeking revisions to Article 9 – Special Compensation. After a caucus, the County provided a comprehensive summary of all of the Union’s proposals and the County’s initial counter-proposals to date. The County also provided preliminary costing information on the parties’ medical proposals and the estimated cost of the Union’s salary proposal. The parties also confirmed that all affirmative proposals are now on the table, meaning no new affirmative proposals will be entertained as part of these successor contract negotiations.
The parties meet again on April 4.
