Sears Site Preliminarily Selected

On July 27, 2021 the Board of Supervisors selected the vacant Sears and Auto Center property located at the Santa Rosa Mall in downtown Santa Rosa as the preferred site for the new County Government Center.

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, Oct. 13, voted to select Village Partners, LLC as the high bidder to purchase the 71-acre Chanate Campus property.

Board Reaffirms Decision to Sell Property

On Sept. 25, 2020, the Board of Supervisors reaffirmed its decision to sell the Chanate Campus property. The Board confirmed the minimum offer requirements, the form of the offers, and described the manner of receiving offers and instructed the County and its agents to negotiate the best and final offers.

County completes $660,000 in renovations to Cloverdale swimming pool

The Sonoma County Department of General Services will host a ceremony Friday to celebrate the completion of a $660,000 joint community project to renovate the aging swimming pool at the Veterans Memorial Building in Cloverdale.
