This ad hoc has two primary components – childcare and structural food insecurity during COVID-19. For each topic our goal is to analyze the impact of COVID in these areas that are very important to women and children, and identify those areas of unmet needs and structural weaknesses county wide and district by district.

Through survey research and interviews, the ad hoc will disseminate the results of both projects to county leaders, community groups, and through print and social media. The ad hoc will also present a hierarchy of priorities to the Commission for the purpose of the Commission adopting these as continuing priorities.

Ad hoc members: Commissioners Brown, Cruz, Nunez-Lopez, and Wood; former Commissioner Rogers contributed to this body of work.
