    This message is to notify you that the Community Advisory Council's (CAC's) April 5th meeting has changed.

    As reported in IOLERO's recent newsletters, Director Karlene Navarro gave a presentation at the March 16th Board of Supervisors' (BOS) meeting about Measure P and how it is being implemented. The conversation focused on IOLERO's first independent investigation of the protester arrests last summer, IOLERO's research on establishing a program for posting body worn camera footage where force was used, IOLERO's whistleblower hotline and changes to the CAC.

    The Rohnert Park City Council last week passed a resolution declaring climate change an emergency and pledging to respond to it. By joining the County of Sonoma and its major cities in adopting the Regional Climate Protection Authority climate action plan, we become the first in the nation to adopt uniform climate standards, formalizing our shared priorities and putting us on track to beat the state's carbon neutrality timeline by 15 years.
