Following the Board of Supervisors August 31, 2021 vote to remarket the Chanate Campus for sale, the online auction sale will open shortly. Sealed bidding is scheduled to end on November 9, 2021. All of the County’s due diligence materials will be available via the Ten X portal and will ensure all buyers review and sign off on receipt of those materials prior to submitting a bid. As of July 21 Sonoma County’s daily transmission rate of COVID-19 is 9 new infections per 100,000 people and 48 COVID patients were being treated at area hospitals. These numbers represent the biggest local surge of the pandemic since March of this year. Nine COVID-related deaths were reported in July compared to just one death recorded in the month of May.
