Sonoma County Is Now Officially a "Voter's Choice Act" County!

The Voter's Choice Act is a new election model that gives Sonoma County voters increased flexibility in how they vote:

  • Every voter is automatically mailed a ballot.
  • In-person voting takes place at "Vote Centers" instead of polling places. Two of the biggest advantages of Vote Centers over polling places are as follows:
    • Voters can vote a regular ballot at any Vote Center in the County; they are not assigned to one specific location.
    • Vote Centers are open multiple days instead of just on Election Day.
