This project repairs landslide damage that occurred during the 2017 February Winter Storms. The repairs will include installation of a new 194-feet long retaining wall extending across the full width of the landslide.
Other work consists of installing a new drainage inlet and pipe culvert, installation of new concrete barriers and guardrails, installing delineators and pavement repairs. Removal and trimming of trees within the slide area will be necessary to provide access. Minor clearing and grubbing at the edge of pavement will be performed as needed. No night work is proposed.
The road has been closed since the landslide and will remain closed during construction.
