Project Description: The October 2017 Sonoma County wildfires affected trees and vegetation along approximately 90 miles of Sonoma County roads. Among those fire-affected trees, the work to be done for this project consists, in general, of removing approximately 2079 trees and pruning limbs on approximately 15 trees. Trees marked for removal have been identified by GPS coordinates and marked with metal tags indicating an Area and Tree ID number.
This project seeks FEMA reimbursement, therefore contractor shall follow all FEMA regulations found in the bid book. In cases when FHWA conflicts with FEMA regulation, FEMA takes priority. Contractor shall follow FEMA Debris Management Guide and provide adequate documentation to meet FEMA eligibility requirement for all tree removal operations.
Certain fire-damaged trees identified in these plans to be removed may have been removed by PG&E or others prior to award of this contract. Contractor should field verify existing conditions prior to bidding.
Project Location: The project locations include various sites alongside the following roads: Adobe Canyon Road, Bardy Road, Bennett Ridge Road, Bennett Valley Road, Bonnie Way, Cavedale Road, Dunbar Road, Henno Road, Kenilworth Ave, Lawndale Road, Lorraine Way, Lovall Valley Road, Manzanita Lane, Napa Road, Nelligan Road, Norrbom Road, Nuns Canyon Road, Trinity Road, Odonnell Lane, Old Bennett Ridge Road, Rollo Road, Schultz Road, Trinity Road, Warm Springs Road, Wood Valley Road.
