  • Placement of a Bonded Wearing Course (Gap Graded, 1/2" Maximum Aggregate), on various County Roads as well as delineation of the new pavement surface, ADA improvements, and such other items or details that are required by the Standard Specifications.
  • Full depth reclamation and chip seals on various county roads including but not limited to asphalt concrete overlay of roadway, adjusting utility covers, guard rails, applying striping, installing delineators, repairing pavement structural section, cold planing, shoulder backing, traffic signal modification and such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans and Standard Specifications.

  • Road Commissioner Project Declaration: Placing additional piles to supplement existing piles and repairing the wall by installing additional lagging to replace the washed out material, located at postmile 12.27 on Geysers Road.

  • As part of the 2016 Pavement Preservation Program, Sonoma County's Road Maintenance crews apply a chip seal treatment to a select group of County roads.

  • Sonoma Mountain Road Viaduct Repair

  • The County of Sonoma Department of Transportation and Public Works is undertaking a project to signalize and widen Adobe Road at East Washington Street.  The project consists of signal installation, road widening, drainage improvements and pavement markings and striping.

  • This fall we will construct ADA improvements in the town of Graton. We will remove and upgrade sidewalks and other access features to make them ADA compliant. In some cases, we may remove only segments of sidewalks or ramps to make the necessary improvements.
