    The result of the unique partnership between the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department and the Sonoma County Office of Education is to train inmates to grow and nurture over 200 varieties of plants.
  • The Regional Parks have beautiful group picnic sites throughout Sonoma County. These areas can accommodate parties of 25 to 150 people and are ideal locations for warm-weather gatherings. Our group picnic areas feature plenty of tables, barbecue grills, parking and space to relax or explore. These sites are popular in spring and summer, so reserve early.

    The open data portal for the County of Sonoma, provides open access to data for research and analysis, to spur innovation through the creation of new business opportunities and applications, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government services, and for all to learn more about Sonoma County.
  • The Sonoma County Economic Development Board (EDB) provides numerous reports on the demographic and educational make-up of Sonoma County, along with reports about the County’s workforce. These reports are generally presented annually and are meant to give you a good picture of the county over the last several years.

    SoCo Report it allows County of Sonoma residents, businesses and visitors the ability to report and track non-emergency issues in the unincorporated areas of Sonoma County  24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Reportable issues include pot holes, street light outages, slides, trees in the roadway, and litter.

Established in 1984, the County of Sonoma Volunteer Program places hundreds of people each year throughout County departments. Countless volunteers invest energy, skills and talent to make Sonoma County a better place to live.
