Project Review and Advisory Committee Meeting

The Project Review and Advisory Committee (PRAC) serves as technical advisory committee on subdivisions, takes referrals from Board and Planning Commission, approves, oversees and makes recommendations to the Board and LAFCO concerning minor subdivisions, examines projects to determine necessity of preparing an Environmental Impact Report and recommends on environmental issues.

This committee replaces and performs the functions of the Environmental Protection Committee, the Engineering Advisory Committee, and the Mineral Resources Committee.

The Project Review and Advisory Committee meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month (and as needed).

A Minor Subdivision of an existing 80-acre parcel to create four (4) new parcels as follows: Parcel 1 at 10.16 acres; Parcel 2 at 10.36 acres; Parcel 3 at 10.77 acres; and Parcel 4 at 49.09 acres. An extension of Kirch Road, a private road connecting to Bennett Valley Road, would provide access to the new parcels. The project does not include construction of any new structures at this time

Written Public Comments: Submit letters prior to the hearing by mail addressed to: Permit Sonoma, 2550 Ventura Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95403 and include the project number. Please note, due to the office closure under the Sonoma County Shelter in Place order, Permit Sonoma receives mail once a week leading to longer than usual processing times for mailed in items.

During the Meeting

Public Comment Using Zoom: Members of the public who join the Zoom meeting, either through the Zoom app or by calling in, may give a public comment when the Chair opens the public hearing for your item of interest.
