Project Description

The park expansion project includes the construction of a parking lot trailhead and connector trail providing a new access route to the existing network of park trails.

The newly constructed trailhead and parking lot include:

twenty-nine vehicle spaces
two dedicated disabled access parking spaces
bicycle parking
portable restroom
garbage container
trailhead signage and trail map
native tree and vegetation planting and associated irrigation

The new West Wind Trail connects from the parking lot to the existing Pomo and Filaree trail intersection, and from the West Wind Trail to the neighborhood sidewalk on the south side of Windsor Drive.
