West County Trail - Forestville Trailhead

Bicyclist on portion of West County Trail

The Forestville Trailhead section of the West County Trail was completed in March 2021.

What & Why?

This project extended the existing 13-mile West County Trail into downtown Forestville by constructing a 0.2-mile multi-use trail from Highway 116 to Pajaro Lane.

The project improved public access to the trail and provided more recreation and non-motorized transportation opportunities. The trail serves as an access route to local businesses, parks, and schools.
