Housing EIR Scoping Period Extended and Public Meeting Cancelled

On March 11, Permit Sonoma published a Notice of Preparation (NOP), notifying responsible agencies and interested parties of its intent to prepare a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) to analyze sites proposed for possible rezoning to facilitate the development of housing. Due to State and local shelter-in-place orders issued in response to the novel coronavirus emergency, the NOP scoping period has been extended to at least May 1, 2020. Interested parties may submit comments at any time during this period in writing to or via an interactive map from the project website

Additionally, the scoping meeting originally scheduled for April 2, 2020, has been cancelled. The meeting will be rescheduled and noticed at a later date.  An updated NOP will be distributed when the meeting is rescheduled.
