Virtual Public Workshop on County Tree Protection Policies

What:
Under the direction of the Board of Supervisors, Permit Sonoma will evaluate and update tree protection regulations to implement natural resource policies of the General Plan. This preliminary public workshop will include a discussion of current zoning code regulations and General Plan policies, and seek direction on potential approaches to achieve natural resource goals regarding tree protections. All supervisorial districts.

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will hold a virtual public workshop and provide direction to staff on the desired scope of a project to evaluate and update tree protection regulations. All interested persons are invited to attend and provide comments. Members of the Public May Not Attend this Meeting in Person.
Where and When:
May 18, 2021 at or after 2:00 PM. In accordance with Executive Orders N-25-20, N-29-20, and N-33-20 this meeting will be conducted via video conference only without a physical location from which members of the public may observe and offer public comment. Members of the public may watch, listen, and participate in the meeting through Zoom or by phone or submit written comment prior to the meeting as described below.
