    Sonoma County Fire Prevention and Hazmat responded to a sodium hypochlorite leak Wednesday morning at 7:09 AM. This leak was the result of a truck fire, which took place at northbound U.S. Highway 101 at the South Cloverdale exit.

    On November 16, 2019, Sonoma County Fire Prevention and Hazardous Materials Unit responded to an overturned tanker on Highway 121 near Sonoma. Approximately 3,000 gallons of fuel spilled on the ground. A successful stinger operation was initiated and the situation was mitigated.

    At approximately 5:00 pm on July 18, Sonoma County Fire Prevention and Hazmat dispatched to Roblar Road and Valley Ford Road in response to a report of 5 55-gallon containers left on the side of the road.

    At approximately 7:30 pm last night, at the request of the Timber Cove Fire Protection District, Sonoma County Fire Division’s Hazardous Materials Response Team responded to an overturned tanker truck carrying gasoline. The location was near mile post 39 on Northbound Hwy 1.
