I need a permit to repair my septic system. What does the application process look like?

  • You have confirmed you need to repair your septic system.
  • It has been established that something is not right with your septic system.
  • You now have to figure out what is wrong with you septic system.
  • Are you permit exempt?
    • If yes, the process is completed.
    • If no, you will need to proceed to submitting an application for a permit.
  • The application will then be reviewed.
  • Was the application approved?
    • If yes, the permit will be issued.
    • If no, the application will need to be amended and re-submitted for plan review.
