Mental Health Board Executive Committee Meeting will be facilitated virtually through Zoom.

You may email public comment to DHS-MHB@sonoma-county.org no later than five days prior to the meeting. All emailed public comments will be forwarded to all Board Members. During the meeting, if you have joined as a member of the public in the Zoom app or by calling in, there will be specific points throughout the meeting assigned to public comment.

Agenda

  1. MHB Treasurer’s Report – Balance –$3,275
  2. Recruitment and retention of MHB members – one vacancy in District 4 (Gore).
  3. Approval of Minutes of 2/16/21 MHB meeting at 03/16/21 general meeting. Draft minutes were emailed out to Board members.
  4. Discuss Board Planning: Special Topic Presentation: April – North County?
  5. BH Director’s Report/DHS-BH Budget Update/Systems Transformation: the Drug and Alcohol Board, what is the MHB’s roll?
  6. Discussion on inviting BOS representative to MHB meetings twice a year. Dates for MHB to present to BOS March 16th. FY 19/20 MHB Report will be presented.
  7. Other Reports Including CALBHB/C and Ad hoc committees; Legislative Agenda Items: PAM and Mental Health Services/Needs at Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility PAM matrix and site visits. Ideas for facilities to visit and volunteers
  8. Discuss MHB acknowledging SCBH staff: next staff person to acknowledge. Discuss presentation, giving people the actual certificate, do we want to spend money on frames? Possible budget amount $100-$200 a year depending upon if more than one person is appreciated at the same time.
  9. Confirm scheduling of the special presentations: Racial Disparities/Anti-racism presenter, outline and fee. Discuss blocking participants that are unruly, disabling chat and using Q&A during meeting (Tori)
  10. MHB Retreat-discuss the Jam Board and retreat follow up
  11. Discuss moving MHB meetings to Wednesday evenings so Supervisors can attend
  12. Conference Attendance Approvals
