The Sonoma County Mental Health Board is an advisory board empowered to listen to the concerns of our constituents and to help formulates policies that offer a consistent continuum of care for all those with mental health challenges. We are further empowered to advise the County Board of Supervisors on the Mental Health System of Care.

The Sonoma County Mental Health Board collaborates with the Mental Health Services Division of the Sonoma County Department of Health Services to increase public and professional awareness of persons with mental health challenges and to help eliminate the stigma attached to those mental illness. We strive to positively impact the mental health system by listening to public input and working with Mental Health Services to create policy that will offer hope to families and individuals living with mental illness.

Email Public Comment Prior to the Meeting: You may email public comment to DHS-MHB@sonoma-county.org by 12:00 noon, Friday, November 27, 2020. All emailed public comments will be forwarded to all Board Members. During the meeting, if you have joined as a member of the public in the Zoom app or by calling in, there will be specific points throughout the meeting assigned to public comment.

    3. Approval of Minutes of 11/17/20 MHB meeting at 12/15/20 general meeting.
    4. Discuss Board Planning: Special Topic Presentation: MHSA Public Hearing on the Innovation Projects
    5. BH Director’s Report/DHS-BH Budget Update/Systems Transformation
    6. Discussion on inviting BOS representative to MHB meetings twice a year. Dates for MHB to present to BOS, Jan 12 and Feb 2, 2021
    7. Other Reports Including CALBHB/C and Ad hoc committees: PAM and Mental Health Services/Needs at Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility PAM matrix
    8. Discuss MHB acknowledging SCBH staff
    9. 2020 Data Notebook sent outon October 6, 2020 -- the topic will be the "Use of Telehealth during the 2020 Public Health Emergency" and will be requesting a quick turn around with your input.
