Santa Rosa, CA – December 28, 2018 – Starting Monday, Jan. 14,
2019, the Sonoma County Veterans Service Office (VSO), 3725 Westwind Blvd.,
Santa Rosa, will increase drop-in office hours to Monday−Thursday, 8-11
a.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. VSO phone hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Santa Rosa VSO clients will
no longer need appointments to determine their eligibility and file claims for
benefits, such as health care and funds for education, or get a veterans I.D.
card that gives them access to some discounts or special programs.
On Tuesdays, the VSO will
take appointments for benefit claim counseling only at the Human Services South
County Center, 5350 Old Redwood Highway North, Suite 100, Petaluma.
