  • Adoptions: Becoming a licensed foster parent is the first step to adopting a teen or child. Enhance your life and enhance your family by adopting through Sonoma County Family, Youth, and Children's Services.
  • Family, Youth and Children's Services provides foster care for Sonoma County children and teens removed from unsafe homes due to abuse or neglect. Staff also recruit and train foster parents to provide safe, stable, caring homes for foster children and teens.

  • Help protect children and teens from harm with just a phone call. Day or night, if you have concerns about a child's well-being, call the Child Protection Hotline at (707) 565-4304 or (800) 870-7064. Calls can be anonymous and are always confidential.
  • To care for children and youth who are no longer safe with their parents or guardians, FYC provides immediate, temporary, emergency shelter with caring professionals and volunteers in this peaceful, stable, supportive and nurturing group environment, until a licensed foster home or appropriate placement is arranged.
