Temporary Suspension of Non-Essential Operations

The County of Sonoma has transitioned to a temporary and precautionary suspension of non-essential operations until May 3, 2020, in an effort to protect employees and the community by limiting person-to-person contact to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

While the Vital Statistics office is temporarily closed, we will continue to provide essential services, including the registration of birth and death records.

Birth and death certificates can still be order through the mail.

The Vital Statistics Office only provides Birth and Death Certificates from 2019 and 2020.
