  •  Contact our Access Team to request mental health services for children, youth, and adults.

  • Our shelter cares for homeless animals until they can be matched with perfect forever homes. Please visit our shelter or view our adoptable animals to learn about available animals.
  • Childhood trauma isn’t something you just get over as you grow up. The repeated stress of abuse, neglect and parents struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues has real, tangible effects on the development of the brain. This unfolds across a lifetime, to the point where those who’ve experienced high levels of trauma are at triple the risk for heart disease and lung cancer. 

  • Health Services partners with the Area Agency on Aging to promote a community that ages together and supports opportunities where we can enlighten, encourage, and care for each other with honor, respect and interdependence.

  • Behavioral Health partners with community-based agencies under contract to provide addiction treatment services, and provides oversight, training, quality assurance and site monitoring for these programs.

  • Sonoma County Behavioral Health provides substance use disorder related services for youth to age 18 and families with young children. 

  • We believe everyone has something to offer, and we need you! We have lots of different jobs. Our volunteer opportunities allow community members to donate their valuable gift of time and energy to better the lives of Sonoma County Animal Services animals.

  • Body art facilities must obtain a health permit and practitioners must register to provide body art services in Sonoma County.
