Published: February 22, 2021
The Sonoma County
Dept. of Health Service, Behavioral Health Division, is currently accepting
applications to deliver Cannabis Prevention/Education Parent Workshops in
Spanish.
The major goal of
the funding is to raise awareness about the impact that cannabis could have on
brain development and explore ways for parents to best approach conversations
with young people at different stages of development. Non-profit community-based
organizations with bilingual Spanish speaking staff or capacity to recruit Promotores de Salud (community health workers) are
encouraged to apply.
