License Your Cat

Your cat's license shows the community that your pet is a loved member of your family. Licensing your cat is the best way to ensure they get back to you safely if they are lost or hurt.

Licensing your cat is voluntary; cat licensing is not required in Sonoma County.

How to Purchase a Cat License

You may purchase a cat license in person at our shelter:

Fee for a Cat License

The one-time fee for a cat license is $6.50 per cat.
