Clear the Shelters returns in 2018. The pet adoption campaign will take place on Saturday, August 18th. Clear the Shelters is a community-driven nationwide pet adoption campaign that matches homeless pets with loving new homes. On Saturday, August 18, animal shelters and rescues across the country will offer low cost or waived pet adoption fees to help families find and adopt a new pet. Clear the Shelters is spearheaded by NBC and Telemundo Owned Stations Group.
Clear the Shelters raises awareness about the importance of pet adoption and the overcrowding issues that local animal shelters typically experience in the summer months because of spring litters. You’ll be able to meet our adoptable animals at the shelter (off Airport Blvd) in Santa Rosa. Our adoption hours are from 12:00pm to 4:30pm.
