If you feel you have experienced any form of illegal harassment, including sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and/or bullying in the workplace and seek guidance on the situation and/or to file a complaint, please contact the EEO Division. We want to help.

Zero Tolerance

The County of Sonoma has a zero tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. This means that we take all complaints seriously and investigate them in a prompt and thorough manner. We work with our departments to resolve complaints and rectify negative workplace situations in accordance with the law, our policies, procedures, and practices.

Resource to Employees

  • Providing referrals as needed to support services (i.e. Employee Assistance Program)
  • Consulting with managers and supervisors on employee issues

  • Providing training to all County employees on harassment and discrimination issues
  • Creating customized training to resolve conflict and build stronger teams through enhancing understanding of diversity and inclusion issues
  • Facilitating Sexual Harassment in-service training for employees upon department request
