Free 5-Part Training Series: Integrated Design and Construction Series

This training is organized by PG&E and is offered in collaboration with County of Sonoma Energy and Sustainability Division and Sonoma Clean Power.

While each session stands on its own, we encourage you to attend all or as many as possible. All five take place at the North Coast Builders Exchange. Lunch will be provided for class participants.

Description: Civil Engineer Bruce King will discuss how advanced wood framing can improve energy performance while carrying structural building loads with less material. In part two, he will describe other enclosure methods such as straw bale, hempcrete and earthen walls, which have all been employed on numerous buildings in California.
