- Funding for Nesting Support Project in Santa Rosa, CA. The project is located on West 9th Street between Stony Point Road and Dutton Avenue in Santa Rosa and consists of creating fencing and a large area of straw mats underneath two median street trees to help cushion the falls of nestlings from trees. The project also encloses a nesting area in a busy residential neighborhood and support Bird Rescue volunteers who need to retrieve fallen birds that may have been injured. $2,500.00 (revised).
