Employee’s Responsibility

Your employee is not required to tell you that he or she owes child support.

It is your employee's responsibility, not yours, to notify the child support enforcement agency if he or she disagrees or finds fault with the terms of the withholding order/notice that you receive.

Even if your employee tells you that the withholding order/notice is wrong,or that you are withholding the wrong amount, it is his or her responsibility to straighten out the disagreement with the child support enforcement agency.
